I also gained experience tutoring my own kids. The joy of being involved in their learning is one I want to share with others. Through my experience of teaching, I find that understanding how each student learns best is an important skill in helping them be their very best. I am eager to join you in your learning experience by providing meaningful tasks in a fun and easy-to-grasp way.
My early experience of being a Math student was not a great one. I felt the concepts were abstract and did not feel my teachers did a good job at helping me love the subject. With this in mind, I am determined to make learning Math fun and exciting for my students through well researched lesson plans, and to provide extra opportunities for students who need assistance.
I believe reading is lifelong and an early grounding in this area is great foundation to help students in their chosen career path. I will engage students and keep interest sustained through lesson plans that are delivered in the most meaningful way possible while letting them develop reading skills at their own pace.
