Excellent Teacher and Mentor!
My son was struggling in Spanish 3 before working with Tara. I first reached out to her because he did not want to take Spanish 4 next year, even though it was recommended for 10th grade. In other words, Tara had to teach a student who was not very motivated to learn Spanish. Tara is such a warm, smart, and responsible teacher. She knows how to work with both students and parents. She combined vocabulary practice with fun games and explained grammar clearly to my son. Shortly after working with Tara, my son's grade improved from a B to an A. Now Spanish has become one of his most confident subjects. Yesterday, when he had homework from three different classes, he said, “I’ll do the easy one first.” That “easy one” was Spanish! He is now consistently earning grades in the 90s. During our most difficult time, Tara had our back. She gave my son confidence, and I now believe he can go much further in his Spanish studies. I truly appreciate everything Tara has done for us.
