I hold a Master of Social Work degree and currently serve in a supervisory role where I lead a team of service coordinators, social workers, and nurses in supporting individuals with complex needs. My educational background has given me a strong foundation in social sciences, research methods, and academic writing, while my professional experience allows me to apply these concepts in real-world settings every day. I began my career in Early Intervention and have worked extensively across human services, giving me a broad perspective that I bring into tutoring.

I have years of experience mentoring graduate-level social work students, supporting them in mastering difficult concepts, preparing for exams, and developing professional-level writing skills. Many of the students I’ve worked with come to me for guidance in academic writing, APA formatting, research organization, and critical thinking. My approach is patient, practical, and student-centered. I break down complex topics into clear steps while encouraging independent learning and confidence.

I am comfortable working with learners of different ages and educational levels, from high school students exploring psychology and sociology, to undergraduates and graduate students in social work or related fields. My tutoring style is flexible. I tailor sessions to match each student’s unique learning needs, whether that means detailed writing feedback, practice with exam-style questions, or structured study planning.
