I have always loved science, which led me to a college major in chemistry. During my time in undergrad I realized I wanted to continue learning so I went on to graduate school and earned a PhD in organic chemistry. While in graduate school I thoroughly enjoyed my time teaching, even earning an education fellowship. Since graduation I have spent seven years teaching lectures, labs, and problem solving sessions in both general and organic chemistry.

Patient and Insightful
Taylor did an amazing job going over everything I learned in my organic chem module 1 lesson to help me get a better understanding of the material that I felt comfortable taking my first exam. She answered all of my questions and if I wasn't understanding something she explained it with a different approach that helped me grasp the material. I'm sure I'll be reaching out to Taylor throughout the rest of the semester in order to stay confident with the material since chemistry has always been a weak topic of mine.

I had no idea what was going on for my chem unit (quantum mechanics) and Taylor helped me understand how all of the equations connect, and helped me make a visual picture of what was going on for each problem. She's very patient and thorough and made sure I understood what was going on before moving to the next concept.
