Hello! I am Dr. Katelyn. I have a doctoral degree in clinical psychology. I graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Psychology. I am adept at helping students generate ideas, create outlines, and actually write papers. I am very comfortable reading papers and making helpful suggestions.
In 2020, I took the GREs and scored a 163/170 (92nd percentile) on Verbal Reasoning and a 5/6 on Analytical Writing (91st Percentile). I scored in the 50th percentile for Quantitative Reasoning. I know exactly what to expect from the GREs and can help students work through example problems and practice techniques to study not only the material on the exams, but get comfortable with actually taking it.
I worked at my school's Writing Center for two years during my undergraduate career. I am excited to help students with every step of the process in writing a paper! From brainstorming ideas, to outlines, to body paragraphs and formatting, I am an expert in writing college level papers.
I have training in teaching study techniques and skills to college level students. I was also a tutor, and we were trained and provided material on how to pass study skills onto our tutees. I have many resources on effective study strategies that I would be happy to help students with.
