I have an M.A. and C.Phil. in Literatures in Spanish from UCSD and a B.A. in Comparative Literature from Bryn Mawr College. I was a Fulbright Scholar in Madrid and have done fieldwork throughout southern Spain. I have published articles, presented at national conferences, and am currently a Director of Student Engagement and New Student Programs at Haverford College.

I spent a year in Madrid as a Fulbright Scholar, as well as several summers in Sevilla, Granada, and other southern areas conducting fieldwork. I interviewed survivors of the Spanish Civil War and helped build an audiovisual archive of their testimony.
