Hello! My name is Jocelyn M., and I am a first-year medical student based in Havertown, PA, seeking to expand my tutoring hours. I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2025 with a degree in Computational Biology and a minor in Chemistry, and I am currently attending Temple University’s Lewis Katz School of Medicine.
My strong STEM background allows me to tutor students at a wide range of levels, from elementary math and science to high school, AP, and college-level coursework. I have experience tutoring high school students in math and biology (including algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, ecology, and foundational biology), as well as working with elementary school students on reading, writing, and basic math skills. During college, I also volunteered as a tutor for adults learning English as a second language.
In addition to subject-based tutoring, I am highly interested in test preparation. My success on standardized exams such as the SAT and MCAT played a key role in my path to medical school, and I am passionate about helping students reach their academic goals through structured, strategic, and confidence-building study approaches.
