Experienced graphic design tutor

I'm Jess and I graduated summa cum laude from Point Park University. I have a Bachelor's degree in multimedia with a concentration in graphic design. My graphic design professor in college recommended that I become a tutor during my junior year in college. I have worked with several college students throughout my time working with the university. Every student I helped started with a different level of experience, some of which had absolutely no experience at all.

While I was a tutor at Point Park University, I worked with the students one-on-one. The projects we worked on were the ones assigned in class. I will work with my students until they are successful on their own. Even after that, I will be available for critiques. While critiquing may not be exactly enjoyable, it is extremely important in graphic design. Even the most successful graphic designers need their work critiqued before it is published.

While studying graphic design, I have just about become an expert in several different Adobe programs. The ones that I am most skilled at are Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. I will demonstrate and then walk you through the steps you need in order for you to master theses programs. If, by chance, I do not know how to complete a certain task, then I will not stop until I have figured it out.

While in college I majored in multimedia with a concentration in graphic design. I have taken (and aced) many classes about the different aspects of graphic design. I have successfully completed projects from flyers, magazines, typography, and even packaging. I understand how to look for details that most people overlook.

I understand just how overwhelming the Adobe programs are when you first start using them, but I will work with you until you master them. It's okay if you don't know anything regarding graphic design or the Adobe programs. I will help you learn everything you need to know. Please contact me if you have any questions.
