I developed a love for teaching during college, and was particularly drawn to my professors' ability to explain complicated topics in many different ways. I have years of experience in tutoring at all levels of math, with a particular interest in competition-level and college-level math. For multiple years, I led drop-in sessions for undergraduate calculus and developed tools to explain concepts in a fun and engaging way. I genuinely enjoy watching students think outside the box to solve problems. I give students enough tools to succeed so that they can fully explain concepts to their peers!
Outside the classroom, I have achieved maximum scores on the SAT, ACT, and GRE math sections, both AP Calc AB and AP Calc BC exams, and I am a three time qualifier for the AIME. I will use my experience to teach students mathematical tricks and test-taking strategies to increase their scores!
Please feel free to reach out and offer suggestions so that I can help you succeed!
