Hi! Thanks for visiting my page. During my undergraduate years I studied Biology, conducted research on campus, played softball, I was active on campus with volunteering, became E.M.T. certified, and I worked 2 jobs--including serving as a Supplemental Instructor/ T.A. for an undergraduate Biology course.

I worked on my M.B.A. while serving as a graduate assistant on campus. After I graduated, I was hired as a long-term substitute teacher of Biology, where I taught 5 Biology classes. I am passionate about science, math, writing, and reading. I would love to help you succeed in the classroom!

As a science major and business major, I have taken many math courses including--Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, College Algebra, Statistics, Precalculus, Calculus, Accounting, Finance, and Healthcare Finance. I also completed a course during my undergraduate studies on teaching middle school mathematics and strategies.

I was a Biology major in undergraduate school and I excelled in Biology courses, Gen Chemistry 1, Gen Chemistry 2, and O Chemistry 1. I have spent a lot of time in the Anatomy Lab as I have taken A&P 1, A&P 2, Human Physiology, and Exercise Physiology.

I had the opportunity to continue teaching full time for two years while getting my master's in teaching S.T.E.M. Education. I am a P.A. certified teacher. While working through this program, I decided to return to my goal of pursuing dental school, so I studied for the DAT and applied to dental school. I am currently a first year dental student.

Please reach out to me to schedule a tutoring session! I would love to work with you. I completely understand having a busy schedule. I have a flexible schedule and I can work around your needs. I have experience teaching and tutoring, and I believe a positive and fresh approach is important. You will always be encouraged to ask questions and try your hardest in my classroom, and when we run into problems we will solve them together!

Awesome Teacher!

Best tutor I’ve had so far! I was really stressing over a chemistry test that I had to take because I wasn’t understanding any of the material in my class, but Kaitlin did an awesome job explaining things to me and working with me through multiple practice problems until I was able to get it all down on my own. I’m confident I’m going to ace that test now thanks to her!

excellent tutor

She was well prepared for my daughter’s first session. She had requested to see the material she would need to cover beforehand so she could sure to make best use of the time. She went above and beyond to create a PowerPoint to review the vocabulary words using pictures and examples. We were very pleased and would not hesitate to recommend her. We looking forward to our next session.

Very helpful!

Before meeting with Kaitlin, I was stuck and it was difficult for me to put my thoughts into words. She helped me by showing me her ideas and the structure of the essay. After our meeting, I felt much more confidant and relieved about writing the essay. A+ Tutor!
