I would love the oportunity to teach tennis and would welcome the opportunity to discuss in person the details and my qualifications.

Tennis has been the passion of my adult life. I have played competitively since my twenties. I have been actively involved in USTA tennis leagues, both playing and captaining men’s teams and mixed doubles teams. Through lessons, hard work, and regular play I have improved my game and now compete at the 4.5 level. I am currently working on getting my USPTA certification as a tennis instructor. I would love the opportunity to help you learn the game I love.

I have always tried to promote tennis around the community and have assisted in growing the USTA community around Gettysburg from zero to now four USTA teams – two men’s, two women’s. In addition, I was instrumental in getting the Quick Start tennis program for elementary school children running in Gettysburg. This has been a wonderful way to give children firsthand experience with tennis and to help promote the game we all love. The turnout for these sessions has run from 35-90 participants. In the summer I also assist with the Junior Team Tennis program out of Southwest High School in Hanover helping to instruct players on the 14&Under and 12&Under teams. Furthermore, I have given individual tennis instruction to high school students looking to bring their game to a higher level.

My passion for tennis and the experience I have gained playing the game, coaching students, and running teams is the reason I am qualified to help you learn the game.
