In my high school years, I received an A+ in AP US History, and I can help anyone currently taking APUSH. I can teach students how to use MLA format, how to write a thorough persuasive or argumentative essay, and how to analyze historical texts/images. At Gettysburg College, I have taken rigorous American History Courses that have fine tuned my expertise in the 19th century. I am especially adept at teaching the topics of the American Civil War to struggling or highly interested students. I am an experienced tour guide and orator, as I a work part-time at a museum where I give visitors an overview of the first day of the Battle of Gettysburg.

History is ever evolving, and it is of the utmost importance for young students to fully embrace our Nations past and learn from its mistakes. With my patient approach, I am able to help students not only master the 19th Century but also develop a genuine understanding and appreciation for American History.
