My skills include all elements of college-prep English curriculum including reading comprehension, writing and composition, literature analysis, grammar, punctuation, usage, vocabulary, research, and library skills. Working as a tutor for individual students provides me with a continuing opportunity to utilize my comprehensive skills in English instruction and my sincere passion for lifelong literacy education serving children and adolescents and making an important contribution to their success in all future goals.
My education includes a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English, a Master of Arts Degree in English Education, and a Master of Arts Degree in Business Administration for combined expertise in communications and training and flexibility and proficiency in multiple and diverse educational support functions. I hold a permanent teaching certificate from the State of Michigan and an Instructional II teaching certificate from the State of Pennsylvania. I have been a successful educator in various instructional capacities for over 30 years.
