I have worked with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), intellectual disabilities, (IDD), learning disabilities, and developmental disorders.
As a school psychology student, I have gathered years of experience as a tutor across several core subjects (Reading, Writing, Math, Science, etc.). Specifically, I have been trained on specific interventions, procedures, etc. that improve academic performance. I have provided effective tutoring for elementary school students, middle school students, high school students, and college students. Furthermore, with my doctoral-level training I can provide specialized tutoring for several students in college. Psychology: I am currently a doctoral candidate and will be defending my dissertation during this academic year. I am very confident in my ability and understanding of psychology and related subjects. Applied Behavior Analysis: I served as a graduate-level teaching assistant for several ABA courses and plan to sit for certification exam before the end of 2026. Statistics: I have utilized SPSS and R Studio to interpret statistical data at both an undergraduate and graduate level.
I believe that tutors should work at the individual's pace, fill in gaps of knowledge, and grow their students' confidence. In sessions, I want to ensure that my students fully understand the concept and work hard to build them as scholars!
