Ivy League PhD in AI for Math and Python Tutoring

Hi, I am Jiahe! I recently graduated from Cornell University with a PhD in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics. My research focuses on designing "smart" algorithms for guiding robots to build various structures. I have five years of hands-on experience in Python programming and machine learning. Before joining Cornell, I received my Master's in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania with an outstanding academic award and my Bachelor's in Physics from Queen's University in Canada with first class honours. At UPenn, I collaborated with the Engineering and Medical Schools to design implantable chips for neurological applications. Back in my undergraduate, I designed circuit boards for the particle accelerator. From my rich experience in engineering and science fields, I realize that a solid foundation in math and physics is the key to building strong problem-solving skills applicable in wide areas.

I have four years of experience as a teaching assistant for undergraduate and graduate courses at UPenn and Cornell, with a focus on computer programming and mathematics. I am open to tutoring programming in Python, data science or machine learning, and mathematics (college or high school level). I also served as the alumni interviewer at UPenn for two years. I am happy to share on college admission and experience if you want to learn more.
