Bio

I am a married father of three who loves learning and teaching. Most of my time is spent with my family, my work, and my faith. I spend as much time as possible with my family. My wife and I love to teach our children everything we can. They suck up information much better than adults. My family is what keeps me going everyday.

I am a married father of three who loves learning and teaching. Most of my time is spent with my family, my work, and my faith. I spend as much time as possible with my family. My wife and I love to teach our children everything we can. They suck up information much better than adults. My family is what keeps me going everyday.

I work as a prosecuting attorney at the county level. I prosecute most types of crimes from retail theft to homicides. I am a trial attorney and spend a lot of time in courtrooms. I know how to use the Rules of Evidence and constitutional principles in the high pressure, fast paced environment of jury trials. I also write extensively on all criminal law matters at both the state and federal level.

I am active in my faith as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am currently the head of one of the two local congregations where I live. Because of my position I regularly teach young people about Gospel principles and council with them on how to live happy, productive lives. I also regularly speak to the entire congregation.

I also volunteer in my community. I regularly present at a Careers in Law Enforcement class at one of the local universities. I also participate in the Wills for Heroes Program and the High School Mock trial competition every year. I believe that society benefits when its citizens volunteer in the community.

During my free time I enjoy reading, cycling, and hiking. If I am not at work or at church, then you will find me outside playing with the kids. There is something special about being outside. It allows people to connect in a special way.

I love teaching. For me, a good teaching experience is when the teacher and the student both learn and come away with knowledge and wisdom.

I have a minor in English. Most of my college level classes were on literature. In my free time I love to read. I have read most of the classics available in English and love discussing what I read. I also have extensive experience

My third year I was a member of the Civil Rights Appellate Clinic and was a member of a team that took a case to the U.S. Supreme Court. I graduated in 2012. The summer after I graduated I studied for the Pennsylvania Bar Exam by taking a Bar Exam class offered by Themis. I took the Pennsylvania Bar Exam in July of 2012. In August of 2012 I was hired as a law clerk for the Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas. I found out in October of 2012 that I passed the Bar Exam and I then became a licensed attorney.
