Phonics

I am a PA licensed Speech/Language Therapist working with Pediatric population. Speech/ Language Therapists are taught the basis of typical and atypical development and often have students who require language, cognitive/ pragmatic direction, and varying degrees of communication needs. I have worked and helped many children with literacy, phonics, sound to symbol identification, the acquisition of speech, and pronunciation and communication differences due to apraxia, autism, down syndrome, hard of hearing/ Deafness and various other developmental disabilities as well as with typical children.

Sign Language

I am a Licensed Speech/ Language Therapist with a Master's degree in state of PA as well as utilize a multi- sensory approach to my therapy sessions. I incorporate sign language on a daily basis for my clients to communicate as well as utilize sign language at home with my family.

I have worked and helped many children with literacy, phonics, sound to symbol identification, the acquisition of speech, and pronunciation and communication differences due to apraxia, autism, down syndrome, hard of hearing/ Deafness, CP, TBI and various other developmental disabilities and special needs. Often communication deficits are part of special needs and require assistance with alternative communication devices and subsequent communication strategies while adjusting to core education skills in a typical and atypical educational setting.
