I am a certified elementary and special education teacher with an additional certification in grades 6–9 math and over 15 years of experience in special education, including my current role as Director of Special Education. I have worked with students aged middle elementary through high school, supporting those with a wide variety of needs, including IEPs and 504 plans. I focus on student-centered solutions, helping learners manage assignments, improve organization, and strengthen study habits in ways that fit their unique needs. I have created tools and systems that make progress tracking and goal-setting practical and achievable, and I enjoy partnering with families to ensure strategies are realistic and effective.
As a tutor, my goal is to combine my knowledge, practical approaches, and supportive guidance to empower students to become independent learners, achieve their academic goals, and develop confidence in their abilities.
