I have been teaching for 22 years in Erie's Public Schools. I started at GECAC Charter School, which was for at-risk students who were unsuccessful in a traditional public school setting. I was trained to restrain students and was the head of the English Department. I then got hired at Strong Vincent High School, where I worked for six years. Presently, I have been teaching for 14 years at Northwest Pennsylvania Collegiate Academy. I currently teach LA11 Honors and am an adviser for the school store, our student-run coffee shop/art gallery, Prom Committee, and Cricut Club.
I have taught 7th - 8th graders for two years, and I've taught mostly 9th and 11th for the past twenty years.
