Hello! My name is Nathan. I have many academic honors that I have gotten during my time in high school and in college. I graduated high school as a Summa Cum Laude and college as a Magna Cum Laude. Many of my teachers have always held a lot of enthusiasm around their area of expertise, and this also led to me being significantly more engaged while I was in their classes. I aim to share a similar type of enthusiasm about my subjects while also covering the material to the extent that is needed from me. It is also very important that students have time to practice what they have learned, both to ensure they understood the lesson and for additional practice.
I am highly qualified in the Math department for high school subjects due to my experience with them in tutoring and my own personal achievements. In my graduating class of over 300 students, I was able to maintain the highest grade in all my math classes outside of AP Statistics. I also contributed a few dozen hours of volunteering at the school's Math Lab where students were able to request help from fellow classmates or teachers.
I'm also highly qualified in teaching the mathematics within the physical sciences, including the formula work within Physics and dimensional analysis in Chemistry.
My main goal is for the students that I tutor to understand the material and be able to solve the problems independently. I also intend to build up their critical thinking by challenging them to work harder and more creatively. Feel free to ask any questions about my services or schedule a lesson so that we might be able to get started working together!
