Hello! I'm Lori. I earned a BS degree in Mathematics along with a Secondary Mathematics Teaching Certificate from Grove City College in Grove City, PA. I also have a MS in Mathematics Eduation from Youngstown State University in Youngstown, OH.
This will be my 28th year teaching math at a jr./sr. high school in Western PA. I have taught Math 7, Math 8, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, College in High School Statistics and College in High School Calculus. I have tutored and still tutor many of my current students in-person, but I also began teaching/tutoring online in 2020. I taught English to children in China, and I have also tutored students in all levels of math via a few different online platforms. I have taught actual lessons online, and I have also provided students with homework assistance and test preparation.
It is my goal to benefit the students with whom I work as much as possible. Therefore, I welcome any suggestions and/or resources that students or parents can provide.
