My undergraduate degree is in Secondary Biology and General Science, and my Masters degrees are in Biology and Educational Leadership. Certifications include biology, chemistry, general science, environmental ed, school administration, and strength and conditioning. I am also a USA Hockey Certified Coach, and am Safe Sport trained.

I am a state certified teacher with 20+ years experience in science education. My undergraduate degree is in Secondary Biology and General Science, and my Masters degrees are in Biology and Educational Leadership. Certifications include biology, chemistry, general science, environmental ed, school administration, and strength and conditioning. I am also a USA Hockey Certified Coach, and am Safe Sport trained.

My teaching experience includes courses in Human Anatomy/Physiology, AP Biology, AP Environmental Science, Biology (regular and advanced), Chemistry, General Science, and Ecology. Methodologies include lectures, labs, and hands-on activities, depending on the needs of the student and context of the class. Tutoring is different from teaching an entire class and demands individualized instruction to meet students where they currently are academically. This means adjusting and selecting the appropriate methods/approaches to assist in helping students understanding and conceptualize topics.

My experience ranges from elementary school to college level, though the majority is with high school students in grades 10 - 12.
