I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Southern New Hampshire University and have successfully passed the Praxis Social Studies Content Knowledge exam. I am currently pursuing my Master of Education in Professional and Secondary Education at East Stroudsburg University as I work toward full Pennsylvania Social Studies 7-12 certification. This combination of academic training and real classroom experience has given me a strong foundation in history, government, civics, and related social studies topics.
As a daily substitute teacher in the Pocono Mountain School District and at Monroe Career & Technical Institute, I have worked with high school students across a wide range of subjects, with a special focus on social studies. I also serve as an Assistant Football Coach, where I regularly work with teenage students on discipline, critical thinking, and personal responsibility. These experiences have taught me how to break down complex material into clear, relatable pieces and adapt my approach to different learning styles and ability levels. I believe the best tutoring combines patience, real-world connections, and steady encouragement so students not only understand the content but also gain confidence in their own ability to succeed.
This fall I will begin a full-time Instructional Assistant role at Monroe Career & Technical Institute. I am looking forward to using both my classroom and coaching background to help students strengthen their skills through focused, one-on-one support.
