I have a Masters Degree in Education and am certified to teach Elem K-6, 7-9 Math, and 7-9 English. In addition to my teaching experience, I have also worked as Therapeutic Support Staff (Direct Support Professional) and supported children on the Autism spectrum for 8+ years. I'm also an Assistant Coach for Girls on the Run. I love to encourage and empower my 3rd-6th grade girls.
As a tutor, I will work to identify and fill any gaps in your child's math knowledge. I will help build retention of new and previously learned content. With your permission, I can also be in touch with your child's teacher to obtain current math material and prepare them for upcoming lessons and assessments.
When I'm not teaching, I'm often found at the dog park with my fur-baby Clyde. I love to travel and am always planning my next adventure.
