I currently work as a K–8 Speech-Language Pathologist in a special education school and specialize in helping children develop the foundational skills needed for communication, literacy, and academic success.

Areas I can support include:

• Language development (vocabulary, grammar, comprehension, following directions, answering questions, conversation skills)

• Early literacy and phonological awareness (rhyming, syllables, sound identification, blending, segmenting, and other pre-reading skills)

• Reading intervention for early learners

• AAC parent coaching and support for families using communication devices

• Social communication and pragmatic language skills

• Special education support and learning strategies

• Homework help and academic support for elementary students

My approach is engaging, individualized, and strengths-based. I work closely with families to provide practical strategies that can be used at home to support communication, learning, and independence. Whether your child needs extra support building language skills, preparing for reading success, or using AAC more effectively, I strive to make learning fun, meaningful, and confidence-building.

Incredibly patient, fun, and knowledgeable

Kassidy was so great with my daughter. She helped open her up from her originally being very shy and also really helped her have fun while learning. I look forward to our next session.

Knowledgeable and very patient

Ideal tutor for autistic kids, Kassidy communicates very well with the parents, makes sure she understands the student's difficulties and learning disabilities, which is very important to be able to teach special ed kids. After only one session we felt that she was the ideal tutor for our autistic son. Thank you Kassidy.
