On the one hand there is the teacher and on the other hand the tutor. The teachers in the classroom present the materials that need to be acquired by the students. However, not all students have the capability to receive all information presented to them in class. Some students may have some rough spots.

However, not all students have the capability to receive all information presented to them in class. Some students may have some rough spots.
It is my job to be the other sculptor and work with a particular student to polish over those rough spots and make the work of art complete. Through our work together we will both gradually see the progresses made and the
successes achieved by each individual student. We will also be proud of what we have achieved together; therefore, to tutor is to touch someone's life forever.
With a Master's degree in Linguistics, I am a highly qualified ESL professional with a certification to teach Foreign languages,
specifically French. I have taught and tutored one on one as well as in classroom settings for five years incorporating my background in second language acquisition, the structure of contrastive analysis and its pedagogy. In addition, I care deeply about my students and empathize with the challenges they face learning a new language. Finally, I have worked with students from over fifty countries and several language and cultural backgrounds.
