I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Jazz Saxophone Performance from the prestigious Eastman School of Music in New York, where I studied for four years with Grammy award-winning saxophonist Charles Pillow. I also had the pleasure of working with faculty members and renowned jazz artists such as Clay Jenkins, Rich Thompson, and the legendary Bill Dobbins. I was a member of the top jazz ensemble, the 'Eastman Jazz Ensemble,' as well as many other groups during my time there. Though primarily a saxophonist, I am a multi-instrumentalist who is also well-versed on clarinet, flute, cello, and piano. I have a solid foundation and understanding of each instrument, as well as experience teaching them to ages ranging from young children to adults. I teach any and all genres of music, and am willing to work with you based on your preferences. From jazz standards, to classical repertoire, to popular music and top hits of today, I am here to help you excel at what you love most!

I have been playing the cello for over fifteen years, and have been teaching the instrument consistently for seven years, to all ages and levels of ability. I have performed in San Francisco, Nashville, London, Paris, Washington D.C., and more! As a graduate of the esteemed Eastman School of Music, I have excelled in my practices and honed my skills. My education has provided me with significant knowledge in this field, and it is my passion to share my love and understanding of music with aspiring instrumentalists. I approach teaching cello with the intention of creating a comfortable, positive and encouraging environment for my students. Whether you have a specific goal in mind or piece you want to learn, or if you're just searching for guided lessons to sharpen your skills or solidify the fundamentals, I am here and ready to help! We will cover the basics, including correct bowing form, sound production & tone quality, reading music, etc. We will also dive into technical work, e.g., learning scales, vibrato and more. I have been playing the clarinet for years, and have been teaching private clarinet lessons for over seven years, to students of all ages and levels of ability. As a former student and graduate of the world-renowned Eastman School of Music, with a degree in Music Performance, I was able to hone my clarinet skills and challenge my versatility on a variety of instruments. I was a saxophonist in the Eastman Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of the legendary Bill Dobbins, where I consistently doubled on clarinet and flute for all rehearsals and performances. I excelled in multiple clarinet courses throughout my undergrad, which required me to learn classical clarinet solos. I look forward to helping you achieve your goals!

I have been teaching private flute lessons for over seven years, to students of all ages and levels of ability ranging from beginner to advanced intermediate. As a former student and graduate of the world-renowned Eastman School of Music, with a degree in Music Performance, I was able to sharpen my flute skills and challenge my versatility on a variety of instruments. I was a saxophonist in the Eastman Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of the legendary Bill Dobbins, where I consistently doubled on flute and clarinet for all rehearsals and performances. I excelled in multiple flute courses throughout my undergrad, which required me to learn classical solos. In our lessons, we will review and solidify the fundamentals of the flute, e.g., basic setup, posture, embouchure, sound production & tone quality, note reading, etc. We will also get into technical work such as scales, and even play duets together! If there is a specific song or classical piece you are eager to learn, I will always be more than happy to work on it with you. All genres are welcome. I strive to make lessons fun and interesting, and tailored to your individual goals, so that you may have the most rewarding and personalized experience. I have been playing piano for over ten years, and now teach professionally! I earned my degree from a highly honored music conservatory, the Eastman School of Music, where I took multiple piano courses from some of the best pianists in the country. I have a deep understanding of the fundamentals, and believe strongly in the importance of music theory. In our lessons we will dig into scale work, technique and sight reading melodies. Feel free to bring songs you are eager to learn! I will strive to make our time the most rewarding and a FUN experience for you.

I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Jazz Saxophone Performance from the prestigious Eastman School of Music in New York, where I studied with Grammy award-winning saxophonist Charles Pillow.  I perform professionally, and have been teaching saxophone for over seven years, to all ages and levels of ability.  I am a current member of the Silver Arrow Band, a premiere wedding band known worldwide.  I have also performed at the Rochester International Jazz Festival and was invited to play for the Rochester Mayor's Ball.  I am well versed in all genres, from jazz to classical to top hits and popular music of today.   In our lessons we will cover the fundamentals of the saxophone, including sound production, technique and note playing. We will also dive into scales, gaining a solid understanding of music theory. I am committed to getting you playing music & your favorite songs as soon as possible! I am a very positive and encouraging mentor who you can trust and have fun with. I look forward to working with you!

Wonderful sax tutor!

Logan has been a wonderful tutur to my daughter who has never played the saxophone before. Logan's skill and knowledge comes as no surprise considering her background, but best of all is the way that she is able to mentor and enhance my daughter's confidence. Even from the beginning, my daughter never felt like she was failing in anything. Instead, she has walked away from the session full of gusto and confidence, and that alone shows the true value and skill in Logan as an instructor. My daughter and I very much look forward to all future lessons with Logan!

Great lesson teacher.

Logan has taught me a lot about the saxophone. I didn't think I'd be able to learn much from online lessons, but So far I learned how to play some basic notes and tunes. What I like about Logan's tutoring Is that she can adapt and go at the pace that you want. I already at the oboe and I already know how to read music. So she went straight to the things that I didn't know like how to put the saxophone together and the fingering of the notes on the saxophone.
