I hold a Master’s Degree in Information Science and a Bachelor Degree in Administration of Justice from Penn State University. I’m Philadelphia Police Academy Class graduate, as well as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) with the American Society for Industrial Security.
As a nine year police veteran in Upper Darby, I have in depth knowledge and training of police procedures, investigation techniques and DUI enforcement. I was also a Certified Intoximeter Operator and Crisis Intervention Officer.
I have ten years of experience in security management, which includes my time as Manager of Security Technology/Acting Associate Director of Security & Technical Services for the University of Pennsylvania, Division of Public Safety. At UPENN I managed the Access Control System, IT infrastructure, and the ADT University contracts. I designed security systems, generated security policies and procedures and was a security consultant for UPENN schools and centers. As a campus public safety security manager, I received training on Clery Act reporting and Title IX.
