Hello! I'm Nicole, and I graduated summa cum laude from Penn State's Schreyer Honors College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Japanese. I also have a Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from Penn State's College of Medicine and was one of four in my graduating class to be inducted into the PA National Honor Society, Pi Alpha. In high school, I graduated 6th in my class of 460+ students and scored a 34 overall ACT with 35s in both the Math and Reading sections. I also scored a 5 on my AP Calculus AB, AP Statistics, AP Chemistry, AP Biology, and AP Environmental Science exams; received the AP Scholar with Distinction award from The College Board; and received the All Science Award, Biology Award, and Statistics Award from my high school.
During my undergraduate years, I was a volunteer tutor for adult ESL students, a learning assistant for an undergraduate plant biochemistry class, and a teaching assistant for an undergraduate modern African history class. In high school, I frequently helped my fellow students prepare for exams and complete homework problems and was voted most helpful to classmates. I have experience with teaching in a classroom setting, one on one, and online.
