I am a mathematics tutor with 14 years of experience and a strong academic foundation that includes engineering degrees at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, along with two additional graduate degrees in computer science. I have taught a wide range of subjects—from Algebra and PreCalculus to Calculus, Linear Algebra, Statistics, Discrete Mathematics, and Advanced Calculus—working with both high school and college students. My experience includes oneonone tutoring as well as leading group classes of 10 to 20 students at a learning center named Kaizen Learning Center.
Teaching math is something I genuinely love. For many years, I worked as a software engineer during the day and devoted my evenings and weekends to tutoring because helping students grow in confidence and skill is deeply rewarding to me. My approach is centered on meeting students exactly where they are. I take time to understand how they think, identify gaps in their foundation, and guide them stepbystep toward solving problems independently. Rather than giving quick answers, I help students build the reasoning skills they need to succeed on their own.
Over the years, many students who once struggled with or even feared math have gained confidence and significantly improved their grades. My SAT and ACT students consistently perform at a high level, with several achieving perfect scores.
