I like to teach outside the box when it comes to math. Math is one of those tricky subjects that have multiple ways of being taught and explained.
Repetition seems to work best when teaching reading. Tapping out words, writing them and seeing them in stories daily, help aide in better reading skills.
I was previously a preschool teacher for 2 years, where I taught numbers, colors, letters, writing, shapes, etc. I am currently a kindergarten instructional assistant and I help teach math, reading, and writing. I also substitute for my district.
