Hey there! I’m Shruti, currently a freshman at Georgia Tech majoring in Industrial and Systems Engineering. Hey there! I’m Shruti, currently a freshman at Georgia Tech majoring in Industrial and Systems Engineering. I’m originally from Philly and got into Georgia Tech as an out-of-state student, so I know what it means to work hard and aim high. In high school, I scored in the 99th percentile on the SAT and took a bunch of AP classes across STEM and humanities — which really helped me build a strong foundation across subjects like math, science, writing, and more.
That academic journey naturally led me to tutoring. Over the past four years, I’ve worked with students of all ages — from elementary school kids building up basic math and reading skills to high schoolers prepping for standardized tests and applying to college. I’ve helped students with AP coursework, SAT prep, essay writing, and even curating their college lists and polishing their extracurricular sections. Most of my tutoring has been one-on-one and paid, and I absolutely love that setting because it lets me personalize my approach to each student’s pace and style.
Before every session, I spend at least 30 minutes prepping lessons, reviewing materials, and thinking through how to make things click for my student. I’m big on flexibility and consistency — I’ll always show up prepared, bring a ton of positive energy, and make sure the learning process feels engaging and encouraging. I truly believe every student is capable of amazing things with the right guidance and support, and I’d be thrilled to help your child get there!
