Hello! My name is Jeremy. I am twenty-one years old and enjoy working with people of all ages! I have a passion for music and love playing saxophone and clarinet, and have extensive experience on both instruments. My dad, Anthony, began teaching me clarinet when I was five years old, and he has learned from some very great names in the clarinet world [Robert Marcellus (Cleveland Orchestra, past Principal Chair) and Anthony Gigliotti (Philadelphia Orchestra, past Principal Chair)]. I have played in PMEA (Pennsylvania Music Educator's Association) in District, Regional, and State bands, and have also performed with the MENC All-Eastern Band in 2009. I also began learning the saxophone at the age of around fourteen, taught by my grandfather, John. He played with many big bands as part of his musical career, such as Harry James, Billy Butterfield and Gene Krupa (Benny Goodman's drummer), to name a few. Both my dad and grandfather imparted their musical knowledge to me, and I would love to carry on the knowledge and experience to other students, and to enable them to carry on the torch of expression through instrumental expression.
