With 45 years of teaching/tutoring, starting with being a Tutor in college, I have perfected my craft as a Tutor-Educator. As a high school teacher at elite private schools, I designed an SAT Math prep course which propelled numerous students to score perfect 800's, the bulk scoring in the high 700's, and with average boosts of 200+ points. As an AP Teacher of BC Calculus and Physics, most of my students scored perfect 5's. As a private Tutor, I have propelled students to levels of full scholarship, straight-A's, and even pursuit of careers in the Math-Science sector.
My experience spans from starting as a Private Tutor during college, to classroom teaching at elite private high schools, to now a 28-year private practice where I've worked with students from elementary to postgraduate levels (including Medical and Engineering schools). Previously I had an office in Manhattan (1995 - 2020), where I was booked 7 days a week solely by word-of-mouth. Post-Covid I transitioned to being primarily an online Tutor, serving clients nationwide and abroad.
Bottom line: The notorious subjects of Math, Physics, Chemistry, and Statistics are actually amazingly simple, once you look at them the right way- the "right way" is precisely what I teach. See gtutoring.com for more details.
Dollar per hour, I am competitive. Dollar per concept, however, I am highly economical. You'll achieve proficiency and mastery in fewer sessions than traditional methods, saving time and money. At $85/hour, my efficiency means fewer sessions overall, netting savings and success.
