Knowledge of any subject requires learning what stands behind and supports the words used to describe that subject.
My name is Cade, and I have 10+ years experience in being an all-subject tutor. I focus on providing students with the confidence to not just “best-guess” on tests, but to fully demonstrate a true knowledge of any subject in whatever testing format. From the correct teaching perspective, a student will find acquiring the thorough understanding of a subject both more useful come test time but also easier and less time-consuming than relying primarily on “tricks” and “memory-devices” forgotten as soon as the test is finished.
I studied undergrad mathematics and scored >99th percentile on the SAT and >95th percentile on the LSAT. I have participated in international delegations focused on youth education and betterment, returning from a two-week exchange in China with the All China Youth Federation this past fall. From principle and my experience as a tutor I know full-well that any student can learn any subject no matter the subject’s “difficulty” nor the student’s learning history. Whether tutoring a graduate for the LSAT or my elementary age daughter for a first reading test; whether online or in-person; whether someone is looking to go further in a subject they excel or need help in gathering the first basics, I take each student’s situation as a unique challenge and find an inimitable joy in helping to resolve it. Looking forward to working with you!
