Ever since I was a first grade teacher in the Baltimore County Public School System, I have enjoyed teaching children. From my first teaching experience I observed many ways that children learn. It is fun to see a child actually learn. You can see it in their eyes when they "get it". It is the best! Since then I have had many life experiences working at Montessori, substitute teaching, being a Therapeutic Staff Support worker (working with children with disabilities and learning problems)and working in the business world.
I would make learning fun with hands on experiences along with visual and tactical mediums. Along with this I would teach the fundamentals of the subject on which the child could build. It would give them confidence in the way they approach new topics and new subjects.
