Hi, I'm Janet! I graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Japanese and Linguistics. I actually started out as an engineering major before switching, so I bring real engineering-level math training to the table, along with a linguist's eye for how language works. I scored a 770 on SAT Reading & Writing and a 680 on Math, putting me in the 99th percentile overall. I've been tutoring for over six years now, entirely one-on-one, working with students ranging from elementary age through college students. For the past two years, I've focused specifically on SAT prep in both the Reading & Writing and Math sections.

What I'm proudest of isn't my own score, though, it's what my students do with the time we spend together. One student gained 80 points in just 10 hours of tutoring.
