Hi there, my name is Anthony. I have been working as a nurse since 2012, and graduated cum laude for a BSN degree from Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh. I also have a MS in Healthcare Informatics. I want to help students interested in healthcare. I want to learn how to use artificial intelligence to make healthcare better; not just for patients, but for clinicians as well.

My experience in nursing entails both bed-side and outpatient care settings. I worked for 8 months on a telemetry unit, but I primarily worked as an ICU nurse for about 5 and a half years. I worked in ICUs in PA as well as CA, with experience in trauma, surgical, neurological, and medical critical care units. I worked as a Post-Liver Transplant Coordinator, as well as a Clinical Liaison for a business development department. Currently I use my nursing background along with my education in informatics on quality improvement projects at a large health system.

I feel that I can help many different clinicians and students alike, having experience in a variety of care settings. I also loved orienting nurses and nursing students when I worked in hospitals; I really enjoy the 1-on-1 setting of educating others.
