I graduated from Millersville University in May 2017 with a degree in English Education (7-12) and a minor in Sociology. I hold a valid PA teaching certificate, and have all up to date clearances. I recently finished my first year as a classroom teacher, providing English instruction to incarcerated youth ages 14-21. I have over 6+ years working in the field of education as an after-school tutor, classroom assistant, substitute and full-time teacher.

I have a commitment to bettering the lives of the students I work with through improving their academic skills and helping them build their self-confidence. As a young educator I have a fresh outlook on what students need to be successful. I take pride in being a teacher and making a difference.

I am passionate about English and have had several years of experience helping others build their knowledge of the subject. I am certified as an English teacher in PA for grades 7-12, and have several years of experience working as an after-school tutor to students of all ages. Through working with at-risk youth, I have extensive experience working with special education students, and students who lack motivation for school. I have developed creative, hands-on ways to teach students about the fundamentals of English.
