In addition to numerous medals and elimination round results, my students have achieved the following results: Top 12 in LD Debate at NSDA Nationals, Octofinals in Declamation at NSDA Middle School Nationals, Qualified to NSDA High School Nationals in LD Debate and Extemporaneous, Impromptu Speaking Middle School State Champion, Congressional Debate Middle School State Champion, Informative Speaking Middle School State Champion, Declamation Finalist at a Middle School State Championship
My own speech and debate career spanned several events. In Extemporaneous Speaking, I won national circuit tournaments, placed second in Pennsylvania's state tournament, placed fifth in the Tournament of Champions, and was one of only sixteen competitors to be invited to the 2022 Montgomery Bell Academy Round Robin tournament. In Pro/Con Challenge, I placed tenth at the NSDA National Tournament. I received awards in LD Debate, Impromptu Speaking, and Congressional Debate as well.
I have taught students in general public speaking skills, general argumentation skills, Lincoln-Douglas Debate, Extemporaneous Speaking, Impromptu Speaking, Original Oratory, Declamation, Informative Speaking, Congressional Debate, Parliamentary Debate, World Schools Debate, and more.
