Hello, my name is Prav! I am a senior college student in the Honors Program with a 3.9 GPA, and I specialize in mathematics tutoring from elementary school through college-level calculus. My academic background in math is strong and consistent. I earned a 790 on the SAT Math section (99th percentile), a 35 on the ACT Math section (99th percentile), A grades in Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, as well as college-level Calculus I and Calculus II, and a 27 (99th percentile) on the Quantitative Reasoning section of the DAT.

I have over five years of experience tutoring students across all age groups, from elementary and middle school learners to high school and college students. My experience includes one-on-one SAT and ACT Math tutoring, teaching at Kumon, supporting student-athletes through an academic learning center, private tutoring, and serving as a Teaching Assistant at the university level. I have worked in individual, small-group, and classroom-based settings, which allows me to adapt quickly to different learning styles, pacing needs, and academic goals.

My tutoring style is structured, patient, and highly student-centered. I break down complex problems into clear, manageable steps, help students recognize patterns in their mistakes, and reinforce concepts through guided practice. I work at each student’s pace and tailor sessions to their specific goals, whether that means strengthening fundamentals, boosting test scores, or mastering advanced material. I am easy to reach and encourage students and parents to communicate freely with questions, resources, or suggestions. I am always happy to adjust lessons as needed and collaborate to create a supportive, effective learning experience.
