I am an experienced English educator with a Master of Arts in English Literature. My transcripts have been officially evaluated by USCE, confirming their equivalency to U.S. academic standards.
I bring over 10 years of comprehensive teaching and tutoring experience across all age groups. Currently, as an English Instructor at Eye Level in Exton, Pennsylvania (2021-Present), I provide one-on-one and small-group tutoring to students from kindergarten through 12th grade in reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary development, and writing skills.
My approach to vocabulary instruction is to help students build robust vocabularies essential for academic success and standardized tests. For grammar, I provide systematic instruction in parts of speech, sentence structure, punctuation, and conventions while helping students understand how grammar choices affect clarity and style in their writing. My literature teaching draws on my Master's degree expertise, guiding students through close reading, thematic analysis, character development, literary devices, and critical interpretation of poetry, drama, and prose. I make classic and contemporary literature accessible and engaging for students at all levels.
In reading, I teach comprehensive strategies including phonics for younger learners, fluency development, main idea identification, inference making, text structure recognition, and critical reading skills.
What sets me apart is my combination of advanced literary scholarship, practical tutoring experience across all age ranges, and Psychology background that helps me understand how students learn. I identify root causes of difficulties—whether phonics gaps, comprehension challenges, grammar confusion, vocabulary limitations, or writing anxiety—and implement targeted strategies to address them. My goal is not just to help students complete assignments but to build genuine confidence and lifelong skills in reading, writing, and critical thinking.
