I have over 10 years of experience working with children of various ages, from infants up to 12 years old. My teaching experience includes working as an assistant teacher in daycare settings, a substitute teacher, a summer school teacher, and as a full-time 1st, 2nd, & 3rd classroom teacher.
My tutoring and teaching approach is very student-centered. I believe in meeting students where they are, using positive reinforcement, hands-on learning, and scaffolding strategies to help build their confidence and understanding. I have experience supporting learners one-on-one, in small groups, and in full classroom settings.
