Hello! I'm Utsab. I've been in the tutoring game on and off for over 10 years in a variety of subjects. I've been a Biomedical Researcher, an MD/PhD candidate, and a Game Programmer. Currently, I work as a Software Engineering Manager at Iron Galaxy Studios, a large independent video game studio, where I've worked on some amazing games including Blizzard's Hearthstone and Naughty Dog's Uncharted.

Throughout my career, I've been teaching and tutoring. I started as a chemistry and physics tutor in undergrad, and expanded to teaching the MCAT, GRE, SAT, and ACT while pursuing my graduate degree. Since graduating, I also worked as a Programming Instructor at the Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy at the University of Central Florida, one of the top ranked game development graduate programs in the world.

Teaching has been a constant in my life, and most importantly, it has taught me how to learn more efficiently. The skills I gained helped transition through a variety of industries. Using the same methods that have brought me and my many clients success, I hope to help you learn what you'd like efficiently and effectively.

A very good and patient tutor

Utsab was available to schedule a lesson very promptly. He was also very prepared for the lesson by going over the questions I had beforehand. He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain the material. He was able to resolve the issue I had very quickly.

Dedicated and Knowledgeable Tutor – Highly Recommend!

I had an excellent experience working with Ustab. He was incredibly patient and knowledgeable, taking the time to help me debug my challenging and frustrating assignment for my data structures and algorithms class. He made sure I fully understood the underlying concepts taking the time to draw out examples and walk through the necessary steps for each problem. His explanations were clear and easy to follow, which made a complex topic much more approachable and manageable. Additionally, he helped me on very short notice and even stayed two hours beyond our scheduled time to ensure all my questions were answered thoroughly. I highly recommend Ustab to anyone looking for a tutor who is not only highly skilled but also genuinely committed to their success.
