I am a current Masters Student in a university for music performance, and I love to teach private French Horn lessons. I have experience playing, and teaching many different instruments, but the Horn is my main instrument.
Along with instruments, I enjoy ear training, and have the ability to teach ear training to musicians. Ear training is very essential for musicians in all fields of study, so it is important for musicians to understand the music they are hearing.

Long over due review for Jacob
This review is a long time in coming, but very well deserved. Jacob has been working with my 13-year-old son for the better part of the year on improving his French horn skills, and both my son and I couldn’t be happier with Jacob. From the very first lesson, Jacob came in with a clear lesson plan and quickly evaluated where my son. He recommended daily strengthening drills that have had a noticeable impact, especially in music reading and overall confidence. What sets Jacob apart is his level of commitment and professionalism. He provides a follow-up summary after each lesson, gives thoughtful homework assignments, and keeps the bigger picture in mind. I’ve found that many instructors often focus on the short term, but Jacob is clearly invested in my son’s long-term growth. Jacob is also incredibly accommodating with scheduling, which I truly appreciate, especially given the challenge of different time zones. He takes the initiative to send reminders about upcoming lessons, which has been a lifesaver for me with my chaotic schedule. Most importantly, Jacob has built a strong connection with my son. Here’s what my son had to say: Jacob is fun. He knows what I have to do to become better, and actually helps me to be better. He’s kind and really great at teaching. We feel very lucky to have found Jacob. His dedication, consistency, and positive energy make all the difference.
