Biochemistry Tutor and Medical Student Teaching Clear Concepts

I am a Biochemistry graduate with the highest grade in my degree, hold a Master’s in Biomedical Sciences, and currently a medical student specializing in podiatry. My academic background has provided me with a deep understanding of biochemistry, molecular biology, and related biomedical sciences, and I am passionate about helping students grasp complex concepts with clarity and confidence. I focus on teaching in a concept-driven way, guiding students to understand the “why” behind biochemical pathways and principles rather than relying solely on memorization. I incorporate step-by-step explanations, diagrams, and real-world or clinical examples to make the material more intuitive and applicable.

My previous teaching experience comes from voluntary tutoring, where I have helped students of varying ages and academic levels develop study skills and understanding in science subjects. In these sessions, I have emphasized interactive learning, encouraging students to work through practice problems, and actively engage with the material. Although these experiences were not specifically in biochemistry, they allowed me to develop strong skills in adapting explanations to individual student needs, building confidence, and helping learners make meaningful progress.

I am comfortable teaching online using platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams. My lessons are particularly suited for high school, undergraduate, and pre-medical students including those preparing for exams or coursework in biochemistry and biomedical sciences. I strive to create a supportive and professional learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, explore concepts in depth, and develop a solid understanding that will benefit them not only in exams but in their future studies and careers.
