Hi, I’m Danny! I’m a passionate mathematician and lifelong learner who finds deep joy in helping others reach their academic goals. I’ve been tutoring since my second year of college and have worked with students from middle school through adulthood in subjects including pre-algebra, Algebra 1 and 2, introductory statistics, psychology, and standardized test prep (SAT and GRE). I currently serve as an Academic Coach and Statistics Tutor at Penn State Brandywine and have previously worked as a professional STEM tutor with Tutor Me Education and as a teaching assistant for an introductory statistics course. These roles have helped me develop a tutoring style that blends empathy, patience, and deep content knowledge. I believe that everyone can succeed in math with the right support, and I focus on building confidence through small wins and active collaboration.
Beyond the classroom, I’ve been recognized for both academic excellence and leadership. I’ve consistently earned Dean’s List honors, received awards for my research on mindfulness and well-being, and served in leadership positions such as President of the Psychology Club and Tenor Section Leader in choir. I bring this same level of commitment and creativity to every tutoring session. My approach is student-centered and strength-based, meaning I tailor each session to fit the individual learner’s needs and build upon what they already do well. I tutor not just because I love the material—but because I believe education is a powerful tool for growth. Nothing is more fulfilling than seeing a student gain confidence and realize they’re capable of more than they thought.
