Hello! My name is Dabriel R., I am currently a Psychiatric Nurse and an Adjunct Instructor. My educational background includes BS in Psychology/Minor in Neuroscience from King's College. I also graduated with my Nursing Diploma at the St. Luke's School of Nursing and proceeded to get my BSN at Chamberlain University. Currently I am enrolled in a MSN program to become a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.

My main experience with tutoring has been in a 1:1 setting, group setting, class setting and online. I have been tutoring since 2022 and continue to do so when students are available. When not tutoring, I am a clinical adjunct for Community and Psych Nursing and continue to help students that I teach- even outside of those subjects.

While in my nursing program I was the tutor for pharmacology. Since then I have also tutored for: Fundamentals, Med-Surg, Psych Nursing, and NCLEX prep (New Gen). My main approach is to help the students eliminate different sources and outside influences in regards to studying, help the students understand the material, bridge theory and practice when applicable, and stimulate critical thinking. I came to this approach because I have noticed my peers and students that I have helped, heavily rely on outside sources and materials that may not align with the material they are supposed to be studying for, causing confusion. Refocusing students into the material that needs to be covered, bridging theory with practice and stimulating critical thinking has helped many of my peers and students become successful. I thrive off seeing others win, so I prioritize this to ensure that you will do your best.
