I am a PhD physicist working as a professor at a local university in the Lehigh Valley. I have BS degrees in Physics and Astronomy, as well as an MS in Applied Physics from Northern Arizona University. I then moved to Auburn, AL to earn a PhD in Physics with a research specialty in magnetospheric physics from Auburn University. Along with my PhD, I earned a graduate certificate in College and University Teaching from Auburn's Biggio Center.
After completing my PhD, I spent a short time at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center as a visiting scientist before accepting a physicist role in the University of Connecticut system, where I taught for five years. I am now working as a physics professor in the Lehigh Valley. I am interested in connecting with students struggling with physics, astronomy, and mathematics, particularly at the introductory level. I have been teaching for over ten years, tutoring for over fifteen years, and have continually kept up with the latest in teaching and learning research through the American Association of Physics Teachers. If you are struggling, I can help.
