Looking for an encouraging voice to help workshop and finetune creative projects?

I'm a lifelong writer and storyteller. I've been working as a creative professional for 7+ years in the online media industry. I've had published works of poetry alongside journalistic endeavors. My journalism career primarily consists of video production and visual storytelling, utilizing Adobe Premiere Pro. My published works have garnered millions of views worldwide. I graduated with my M.S. in Business Journalism from Arizona State University in 2021 and completed my B.A. in Media Studies and Production from Temple University in 2017.

I'm passionate about creative writing and the power of poetry and journaling. In many ways, all poems written by students are beautiful and perfect as they are written, but in my creative writing workshop experience, all praise is accompanied by supportive and encouraging criticism to only further the impact of someone's creative expression. I would apply this mindset in all writing tutoring. That said, when it comes to accuracy, grammar and high achievement, as a professional journalist by trade, I am skilled in editing essays and other written works.

As a video producer, I have 5+ years of experience in crafting, storyboarding, scripting, shooting, producing and editing video projects. From brainstorming ideas to execution, I can offer insight and advice for students pursuing video projects.

Outside of this career experience, I have worked as summer camp counselor and have volunteer experience with various writing-focused programs, including Girls Write Now and IndyKids, where I worked with students ages 8-18 on college essays, school paper articles, poetry and more.
